The Rupara bridge en-route to the Nkasa/Rupara National Park (also known as Mamili) in the Caprivi is well known amongst overlanders.  During our December 2009/January 2010 trip to Botswana and the Caprivi we gained first-hand experience of how difficult it could be to cross the bridge.  On our return we wrote an article that was published in Wegry no 18 of April/May 2010.  Below is a copy of the article.

The bridge has since been replaced with a new steel bridge.
